Walnut interior
Walnut veneered cabinets with painted panelled doors, and walnut panelling to chimney.
These three double wardrobes were all handmade in our Dorset workshop. We used walnut veneered board with walnut edging for the cabinets, finished with durable hardwax oil. The doors, infills, end panels and cornice are all hand painted in Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell (De Nimes) and the chimney was clad on site with pre-finished walnut veneered boards, mitred to wrap around the corners with continuous grain pattern. Solid walnut shelves were added for open storage. Timber mouldings were mitred and fixed to the walls to create a panelling effect, and then the whole room and ceiling were painted in matching F&B De Nimes .
