A new kitchen for this classic showmans’ caravan, nestled in the Dorset countryside
This was a lovely project, to build a kitchen that shared the same beautiful warm wood tones of the rest of the caravan interior. The dining space has a built in bench seat with storage inside, a hand crafted solid cherry bench and table base, with a plywood table top with solid cherry edging and wonderful orange Formica AR Plus high gloss laminate. A solid cherry framed cabinet houses the drawers and cupboards, all held closed when in transit, with hand crafted solid cherry turn buckles. The work surface is also ply with cherry edging and Formica, and a salvaged mahogany drainer runs into a ceramic sink on its own solid cherry stand.
