Another kitchen collaboration with Rex Johnson (Rex Design Ltd.). The client had some reclaimed timber from her renovations which she wanted to be used, and also really loved Rex’s suggestion to use up leftover pieces of timber that had accumulated in our workshop. The result is a unique looking kitchen with reclaimed timber shelves and framing, and doors and drawer fronts made from a mix of timber varieties including oak, ash, beech, walnut, cherry, maple, larch, elm, sapele, Douglas fir, chestnut, and pine, all with a lovely big chamfer detail. Some Green Formica laminate and solid sapele edging for the worktops and upstands and some Portland stone heat pads either side of the cooker, give a splash of vibrant colour.
Above the sink is one of Rex’s “Ultimate Plate Racks” from his “Made by Jake Collection”
