Solid elm top, frame and shelves, with elm veneered panels.
This house had exposed elm tie beams on the top floor landing where a pile of recently unpacked books needed their own new home. I had recently visited a local timber supplier “The English Timber and Joinery Company”, to select some pieces of oak for another project and had seen their stack of elm boards. Happy customers, happy books!
