Alcove dressing room
Hand painted cabinets with oak drawers, shelves and hanging rails.
This bedroom had nice high ceilings except for this area, which was under the half landing of a large stairway on the other side of the wall. There was enough head height to stand under there, so we put wardrobes and drawers at the back of the recess and open shelving towards the front, either side, then panelled and added double doors and extra lights to make a well lit cosy dressing room.
